APAHM 2023: AAPI Heritage Month Activities to enrich the workplace

Posted by Amy Hsiao on

Asian Pacific American Heritage Month (APAHM) is an annual tribute to Asians and Pacific Islanders who've helped to shape and and made an impact in our country. As an AAPI women led company, this is one of the most important times of the year for us to be able to spread our mission of spreading Asian American culture and nostalgia through delicious food and desserts.

Every year we focus our APAHM efforts on a different mission or goal. This year we have decided to create a corporate experience to share our mission with companies who want to bring APAHM into the kitchen.

We have developed a delicious bubble tea experience for you and your team to create using tea leaves from a local tea farm in Taitung City,Taiwan as a gold standard cup of milk tea.

Our Bubble Tea Experience can be hosted as a virtual, hybrid, or in-person event. Everyone will be able to create their favorite versions of 'boba' with our kit while learning more about the origin story of bubble tea and the significance of its place in Taiwanese Culture.

This past April, we have also launched a new watercolor experience in partnership with Sam Chang, an AAPI artist who loves all things watercolor. She leads a 60-minute relaxing watercolor course that is not only therapeutic, but also extremely informative.

If you are interested in booking a corporate team bonding experience for your workplace or team, feel free to email me at amy@kitsby.com!
